  1. hi i have the 8 channel floureon H.264 dvr everything is working fine apart from my email alerts. I put in my provider TALKTALK in mail settings (outbound settings) and the message i get coming up is, Warning senders mailbox illegal. why is this so how do i go about rectifying this please can you advise or am i going wrong some where.

    • Hi,thanks for your message. please check if gateway & DNS of DVR is same as your PC?
      PS: DVR and PC should connect the same Router. And DVR’s IP need be same setted in a LAN

  2. I have checked all the above and all the details are correct and the same has my computer still getting the same response as before. In smtp you have various smtps ie gmail live .com etc when put talk talk.net still says same thing now at a loss need a little more help in diagnosing the problem. Eric

    • The email account needs to have SMTP or POP / IMAP enabled.
      If the connection still fails,please check that whether your Gmail account receives a email from Google that login has been blocked.
      Please open your Gmail to set that allow Gmail to use less safe app.

    i bought a 8 channel floureon H.264 dvr and email alert works fine with gmail. But there is no option to attach photo in the email. In the youtube I found some video there snapshot open is there. But it is missing in my DVR. what should I do? could u please send me the latest update to get this feature?

  4. Hello,I purchased a Floureon H.264 DVR from Amazon for around £30.00 and it appears it has no HDD inside.Please could you advise me exactly which one I need please ?…..eg Model number etc……Thanks,Alan.

    • Please check the product listing whether it contains a hard drive. Some products do not contain a hard drive, you need to purchase the hard disk. If you are not sure whether your product contains a hard drive, contact support@floureon.com and provide the model of it.
      DVR need install a bulit-in 3.5 inch SATA2.0 hard drive to save records(500GB to 4TB HDD),not support external hard drive.

    • How to access DVR via mobile phone please refer to the steps
      1.DVR connect to router via Ethernet cable
      2.Enter the Network setting of DVR to set DHCP Enable and DNS set up to Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8 / Secondary DNS :8.8.4.4
      3.Check whether DVR connect to Internet success.If the Nat status is Connected mean that DVR connect to Internet success.
      4.Phone connect to the Internet, download and install APP XMeye, then open the APP, click Add Device, enter the DVR device code and password.
      Note: APP need to register account, if you can not complete the registration, please select the local login mode.

    I have just purchased and installed a 8ch 4 camera system. Everything was easy to install however each time my car or passing cars comes past the DVR makes quite a loud beeping noise. Is there anyway of stopping this? I have looked in alarm output.

I have an IP camera (Device Type: C6F0SgZ0N0P3L0, Software Version: V10.1.3.5.1-20170901, Webware Version: V1.0.1) – it works great, but I can not figure out how to make the camera move automatically from one point to another (cruises/ tour). I also found this video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rr3QurSuohk in which you describe how to do that, but my webinterface does not look the same like in the video, do I need to update something? If yes, how do I do that? Thank you.

  11. Hello i have a 1080n ahd dvr with 1tb hdd. There seems to be no snapshot option in motion detect via email. But I was sold the box saying it had this feature. Do I need to do a firmware update or reinstall the hdd.

  14. I have a FLOUREON 8CH 960H CCTV OUTDOOR 900TVL IR CAMERA KIT with x 4 cameras. It is all set up and I can see the cameras on my TV screen but cannot work out how to get them to record. There is a hard drive connected within the box. I have a disc but do not know if I have to do something with this and just cannot figure out where to go with this. I have looked at all of the u-tube clips but they are about set up and I cannot find my exact model either.
    Please help!

    • When you finish installing hard drive , you need to enter Main Menu→ Advance → Storage to format hard drive and then you can set recording in the dvr .
      If the DVR can not detect the hard driver, please confirm that your hard driver is SATA2, DVR may not be compatible with some SATA3 hard driver.
      You can also install the hard drive to your PC check that whether it can be detected.
      Then enter the Main Menu – Record – Record setting to set the recording mode.

    Is the firmware on these units provided and updated by yourself? If so, is there any way to find out what the differences are / a change log?

    And will FTP support be re-added? As previously was not working then updated firmware and it was removed completely.
